Maybe you find yourself: ➡ Mindlessly scrolling through Instagram ➡ Adding items to various online carts “just to save for later” ➡ Feeling the subtle but persistent pull of targeted ads ➡ Comparing your home, wardrobe, and lifestyle to perfectly curated social media feeds It’s crazy how quickly these habits can affect our sense of contentment. 🙈 A mere five-minute scroll through social media could transform my calm morning into a wishlist of things I suddenly “need” to improve my life. 😵‍ I'd like this season to be different, so I've come up with a few ways to combat digital marketing for myself this year. Commit to almost anything for a year, and when you Commit to almost anything for a year, and when you look back you can hardly believe it. 😱 Starting something is so daunting, but then looking back on the product of your commitment feels like it took no work at all. We planted some raspberries 2 years ago, and some last year, so you can see the difference in growth. It takes time and dedication to reap the benefits of a harvest. That goes for gardens, fitness, new skills, but most importantly, God’s word. 🕊️ I’ve started to look back on commitments I was forced to make to see the harvest reaped to motivate myself to commit to new habits.
